In 2015 Jagraj Singh addressed why Sikhs should support and register for organ donation:

However, we were made aware that many countries still have an issue of a lack of Asian donors, which is a problem for the likes Rajie, the 11 year old at the centre of the Match4Rajie campaign.

Rajie currently suffers from Leukaemia, a type of blood cancer which means that his immune system does not work correctly, and to better his chances of survival, he needs to find a stem cell donor.

But what is a stem cell transplant? How do you register for it? And most importantly, is doing so in line with Gurmat?

Basics of Sikhi Academy graduate Mandeep Singh spoke with one of Rajie’s family members to help you learn the answer to all these questions and more.

Check it out and leave your comments below.
